NOTICE TO VOLUNTEERS
We have had a great deal of difficulty getting enough volunteers this year to help organize Race Rock Regatta. In addition we do not have a Race Committee and have been unable to find one. Without organizers and a Race Committee we cannot hold theRegatta. This is a great disappointment because we have been working the last two years on a plan to improve RRR for the kind of boats it was always intended to have participating.The plan has been for us to get back to our roots (wooden boats) and to add a division For classic fiberglass monohulls, 25 years or older. Each division would be a member regatta in the WoodenBoat Regatta Series or the Heritage Series for Good Old Boats, as the case may be.

The newer PHRF and the multihulls will have a race the weekend after which will not be RRR, but will be hosted and run by the Stonington Harbor Yacht Club.
